The luggage is just right - i think he's the wisest character thru the whole series Rincewind is perfectly confused. The flow of this scene is great - hope you trap some new fans with it - both for yourself (as you did me!) and for Terry Cristina Marsi replies: "Hehe, thank you I actually cant call myself a Pratchett's fan yet, since its a new discovery for me, but after first book i ordered 6 more so i guess I'll become one soon. Happy you like my rendition of the scene... And now lets start a quiz: Where does "my" Anhk Morpork come from? Check map in my homepage for a hint " | |
| 8 Jul 2004 | Antony M. B. Sadler (Drig) | Loading...Yes the Rim-world - cool series - I'd love to see your version of Death, and the counterbalance - . The colours are perfect so bright and so much contrast. And I really like the 'bumps' within the luggage it makes it so very alive. Your trademark feet are adapting but still I think your pictures will often be verified and dated by the feet. Enjoy your 7 book introduction to Pratchett Cristina Marsi replies: "Hehe, only reason why his feet are bigger than usual is that he is wearing those oriental style pointy slippers To balance that i gave him very small hands, noticed ? (sigh, cant give decent proportions to a body).Yeah, after reading "Mort" i was pondering on picturing Death, maybe busy fishing Also Great A'Tuin would make an interesting subject...Anyway thanks for stopping by and commenting, will return visit " | |
| 6 Jul 2005 | Anonymous | Loading...It is a well drawn picture. But if you take a look in "The Art of Discworld", by Terry Pratchett, you will see what a funny character Twoflower really is, exactly like you would imagine him! Nothing against you picture, just another small comment, next time we would love to see the face of the silly chap. Keep the nice drawing up! Cristina Marsi replies: "Thanks for stopping by and commenting: I will surely have a look at your ref, but if you just bother to read the book (or simply my desc with is just a quote from book) you will notice that in this scene Twoflower is missing. The featured chars are his Luggage and Rincewind. If I remember correctly while this scene is occurring Twoflower is busy making aquietance with his fellow customers at tavern " | |
| 18 Sep 2005 | Anonymous | Loading...It's a good picture but I got the impression that Rincewind's clothing was red and that he didn't have a hat(b/c of the scene in the tree) and didn't the luggage have more and smaller legs? Other then that it looks just as I imagined it. Cristina Marsi replies: "... and Rincewind should be exactly 1,74 m tall and there must be not less than 26 tiles on the pavement, and the water is actually still too diluted Hey, will you leave an artist some licence? Anyway, thanks for stopping by and commenting " | |
| 22 Oct 2005 | Jelena Dunato | Loading...Looks like Rincewind ended up in Venice, no? Mind you, Ankh can't be much worse than those canals Anyway, fantastic pic. I love the Luggage's chubby legs. Cristina Marsi replies: "Hehe, looks like you solved my quiz I actually imagine Ankh a little like Venice. Used no reference though, just memory " | |
