Ey de Net, prince of the Duranns has just defeated evil wizard Spina de Mul and conquered his treasure, the stone Rajeta. Now he is wondering what to do with it... later he will meet princess Dolasilla, still a baby. Since the baby princess will be fascinated by the bright stone, Ey de Net will give it to her as a present.

Gouache on paper. 30*40 cm.

Comments and CC always welcome.

Other illustrations on the Fanes saga, not the complete saga  I'm afraid, and not in the correct order, can be found in my gallery, among plenty of other stuff :) The Fanes Saga is a collection of oral legends from the Dolomites. Karl Felix Wolff was the first one to write them down in a book.
Thanks for viewing. :)

Amazing! The whole picture is full of details and colours, and it makes is interesting to look at. I love how you have paid attention to both the character and the background - most people tend to focus on just one of them, but this picture has both 2 The way you coloured the mountain and grass gives the background a rough and natural look, as with the prince’s pose, wich looks calm and relaxed. It all looks great, and that little chipmunk is adorable (it is a chipmunk, right?) 11 Lovely work!

Wow. Such attention to detail. And your work with the human figure has come a long way. Amazing. Great work!
