Cristina Marsi replies: "Thank you Yup the floating thingie is actually a bed... Hmmmm, hard to explain what it is doing there... Consider it part of the assignment "
| 15 Jul 2003 | Leowon | Loading...The comissioner of this work, I'm pleased to see how it turned out! The colouring especially, is great, and the moon... As for the reason the bed is there, you'll have to ask me: telnet mud.lysator.liu.se 2000, look for Leowon. ;-) | |

Cristina Marsi replies: "Thank you for the astronomical clarification. I suspected a full moon would not respect the description entirely, but I took the licence to give it its full circularity and represent that "gibbous" as "bumped, full of protuberances".Hey, an artist has the right to interpret things, hasn't he? And anyway the commissioner took no objection to it, on the contrary! "

Cristina Marsi replies: "I really have no idea, it was a commissioned piece. Should ask the author if he got influenced from that poem "
| 26 Jan 2010 | Jeanette M Thomas | Loading...Reminds me of a scene from one of the H P Lovecraft stories where unmentionable Old Ones dance beneath a gibbous moon to eldritch pipings. I think the person who commissioned this probably had the Lovecraft mythos in mind. | |
